  • Why reading is important

    Why reading is important!!! Reading below a 6th grade level means many things that students do not realize.  It means not being able to read a newspaper, fill out a job application, read a bus schedule, or  a medical prescriptions.  Being able to read is simply about survival. 

  • Areas Covered In Language Art/Reading:

    *  Reading First (K - 3rd grade) 

    * Comprehension - I.D Main Topic, Describe  Main Characters, I.D. 1st, 2nd, or 3rd person; and Conclusion/Summary.

    AAE provides workshops or on-the-job training to teachers, administrators, and students to provide tools to fill an academic treasure chest with additional tools to engage the student.  For the elementary student it will accelerate the academic achievement, for the middle school student it will fill in academic gaps and bring them to or push them pass the grade level expectation (GLE), and for the high school student it will fill in academic gaps and provide short cuts that will be required for success in college. This method is also excellent for students beginning college in the lower math area.
